Which providers does Rank use to connect my accounts?

Rank uses Paybook, operating commercially as Syncfy, and Plaid Inc. The provider used depends on the country, financial institution, technical compatibility and connection availability.

Can I choose between Syncfy and Plaid?

Accepted Answer

No. Rank does not let you choose manually between Syncfy and Plaid. Each connection uses the provider assigned to that institution, country and technical availability. When institutions share the same name, Rank displays the country flag so you can identify the correct one before connecting it.

What information can Rank see?

Rank can receive only the financial information you authorize, including account names and types, balances, transactions and available financial-product data provided through the connection.

What can Rank not do with my accounts?

Accepted Answer

Rank uses read-only connections. It cannot transfer or withdraw money, change the terms of your financial products or execute banking transactions from your accounts.

Does Rank store my banking credentials?

Accepted Answer

Rank does not receive or store your banking usernames, passwords or security codes. Depending on the institution and connection method, authentication may take place directly with the bank or through the applicable provider. Syncfy and Plaid manage that process under their own policies.

Which financial institutions can I connect?

Rank offers Plaid connections for supported institutions in the United States and Canada, plus regional connectivity through Syncfy in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. Availability and connection quality may vary by provider and each institution's systems.

Why can a connection fail or show delayed information?

Connections depend on the financial institution and provider. Password changes, multifactor authentication, maintenance, refresh limits or changes to bank interfaces can cause delays, disconnections or incomplete data.

What can I do if my institution will not connect?

Confirm that you can sign in directly with your institution, refresh the connection in Rank and review its published status. If the issue continues, you can temporarily record the account or its transactions manually and contact support.

Can I disconnect a financial institution?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can disconnect an institution from Rank. Depending on the provider and institution, you may also be able to revoke access through your bank or the provider's connection-management tools.

Does disconnecting an institution also delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Disconnecting an institution stops future synchronization, but history already received may remain in Rank. Deleting that history, your Rank account or information managed by a provider is a separate process.

Does Rank sell my financial data?

No. Rank does not sell or rent your financial data for advertising or marketing. Information is shared only with providers needed to operate, protect and maintain the service, as described in the Privacy Notice.

Can I completely delete my account and data?

Yes. You can request account cancellation and data deletion by emailing legal@rankfinance.app. Some records may be retained for the period required by legal, regulatory or security obligations.

How do I exercise my ARCO data rights?

Email legal@rankfinance.app with your name, the email address associated with Rank, the right you want to exercise and the information needed to verify your identity. Rank will respond within the periods established by the Privacy Notice and applicable law.

Although Rank is a Mexican company, some providers may process information outside Mexico to deliver their services. Rank uses providers connected to operating the platform and applies the measures described in its Privacy Notice.

GAIA uses the context needed to generate personalized analysis and responses about your finances. Its responses are informational; GAIA cannot move your money or execute banking transactions. Any available action within Rank requires the user's explicit confirmation.

Rank will evaluate the incident, take steps to contain it and notify affected individuals and authorities when required under applicable law. Communications will include the information available and recommended steps for protecting your data.
